Manu has been dancing lindy hop since December of 1997. Since then his love for the music and the dance has grown. The list of instructors under whom he studied is too long to write here, but two of his greatest influences are Janice Wilson and Frankie Manning. Janice was his first teacher and Frankie...well...everyone knows Frankie.
Since 2000 Manu has been dancing lindy, performing lindy, competing with lindy, teaching lindy, DJing lindy music and MCing various lindy events. Dig it.
Born in New York but currently teaching in San Francisco, CA at the 9:20 Special Thursday night dance. Thanks to Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe, Manu gets to share my love of lindy with folks in my local area.
