Joan, thank you for a wonderfully organized and fun workshop. Everything went smoothly thanks to your good planning :)
The students were great, so nice and friendly!! Both Elliott and I had a great time and we of course hope to be able to come back in the future.

Joan Gelin knows how to put together a JAMMIN’ JUMPIN FUNFEST. I had a beautiful dancin’ weekend. You must make this scene. I did not know that Phoenix could groove like this. It was a pleasure to perform at this happenin’ event.

Once again, I had a most lovely time traveling to phoenix and playing for all the wonderful people who showed up at the DancEnergy studios - it is such a pleasure to watch the swing dancers do their thing out there on the floor, and it certainly inspires me to play better as I feed off the dancer's enthusiasm and energy. At one point in Sat. nite show, I actually became a dancer [for a brief moment] as Chester took over my sax chair, allowing me to strut my stuff with a sweet and lowdown dancer named Becky - she showed me her swingin' moves, and they were all happening !! Also a special shout out to Joan Gelin, who made it all possible - she is definitely the glue connecting all the important pieces, holding this thing together and making it all work out fine - she is also a most gracious hostess, allowing the band to stay at her cozy love nest {her home} whenever we are in Phoenix. Thanx again 4 a great time in phoenix, and am already looking forward to the next time !!!!!!!!!! ............

A weekend in Phoenix or Gilbert can be exciting inspirational experience. You wouldn?t think a small town in Arizona could have anything worth remembering but it does. . . Creative juices flow like rivers on these dance weekends. The dancers are inspired by the music and we musicians are moved by the dancers. All involved are so very warm and friendly one forgets about the worlds conflicts and their personal problems. This is Phoenix and Gilbert on one of Joan's dance weekends.
