Shannon Butler started dancing in 1973 when her mother and grandmother began teaching her the dances of their youth. Since then, Shannon danced in a nationally televised commercial, taught at Camp Hollywood and performed on stage with dance legends Betty Wood, Norma Miller, the Nicholas Brothers and others. Shannon has taught various fad and historical dances since the mid 1990s and has been dancing, teaching and performing with Lance Benishek since 1998.
