Rachael is an accomplished blues dancer and teacher . She focuses on concepts such as simplicity, clarity, expression, and body awareness which are critical to advanced social dancing. This past year, Rachael has placed in the top 3 at a national blues dance competition. At Blues Shout in St. Louis she placed in the Jack and Jill (3rd) and Strictly Juke Joint (1st). She also participated in the foundation of Denver’s newest teaching group, Black Diamond Blues. In addition to this, Rachael has taught at events such as Denver’s Blues Summit - a national blues exchange, San Francisco’s FNB and Tangoed up in Blues, as well as local Phoenix workshops and classes. Formerly from Denver, CO, Rachael is a recent transplant to AZ and we are glad to have her here! She teaches classes at Big Fish Pub on Wednesday nights
